The beginning of this fox’s tale was fairly depressing: the wild animal was stranded and severely injured by the ropes.
The wounds on the fox’s body would not heal on their own, even if she was able to free herself from the many knots.
The Wildlife Sanctuary personnel located the fox by sheer force of a straightforward case. Naturally, they brought the injured animal to their home in an attempt to treat her. Although they were able to heal her in the end, the animal’s tale did not finish there!
Everything took place in the UK’s Warwickshire. The fox could, thankfully, totally recover from serious injuries in a top-notch rehabilitation facility, though it would take a while.
The doctors had anticipated that the recuperation would take more than a month. Thus, despite their strong desire, they were unable to release their ward into the wild now that she had fully recovered.
The fox, however, got overly domesticated during its time with humans and would not have been able to thrive in its natural habitat.
However, after hearing this tale, a man by the name of Jeff Greucock did not appreciate this alignment in the slightest, as it would leave the fox without an owner. He chose to have her all to himself!
To everyone’s astonishment, Roxy the fox started acting like any other regular domestic dog because she was so happy in her new home!
Pet started having fun with the dogs and other animals in the house after becoming friends with them.
In addition to sleeping in her favorite basket and frequently going for walks on a leash with Jeff’s 19-year-old daughter Rosie, Roxy enjoys eating dog chow rather than raw meat.
Roxy has wonderful friends and a favorite house! Is happiness dependent on anything else? This vixen seemed to be having a great time in her new life!
Do you believe that she would fare better in the wild or, conversely, among humans?
