Kevin Costner, a famous actor, showed up at the Golden Globes recently, and everyone’s talking about it. Last year was rough for Costner.
He and his wife, Christine Baumgartner, split up after being together for 18 years. Reports say Baumgartner wasn’t happy about Costner spending too much time working on his projects and not being around at home. She didn’t like him being away for long periods.
Costner’s busy schedule caused tension at home. He was focused on his new project called Horizon and didn’t spend much time with his family. After the split, he was spotted with singer Jewel at a tennis event. They even went on vacation together in the Caribbean.
At the Golden Globes, Costner presented an award with America Ferrera. He quoted a line from Ferrera’s movie Barbie, which got a big applause. Ferrera jokingly asked if he memorized her monologue, to which Costner replied he didn’t, but he appreciated the message about womanhood in cinema.
