The story of the movie centers on “a suburban housewife pushed into the stay-at-home routine of raising a child,” who starts to worry that she’s changing into a dog, according to *Variety*. Ella Thomas and Garrett C. Phillips are also in the film.
Amy, who is married to Darren Le Gallo and has a 12-year-old daughter named Aviana, manages her hectic work schedule with her family’s needs.
Her participation follows Christian Bale’s admission that while filming *American Hustle*, he served as a “mediator” between Amy and director David O. Russell. According to leaked emails, Amy was “devastated” by David’s alleged “abuse” of her during filming.
