We expose our lives to criticism when we post details of them online. People were critical of this young pair since they are only image enthusiasts, and their relationship was the source of criticism.
But their answer to the criticism is insightful and serves as a clear reminder of how important it is to be firmly convinced of your convictions.
Even while it might seem like a typical scenario, the couple’s size difference gives their story a special touch. Brittany has struggled throughout her life to gain acceptance. Her dealings with her domineering parents, with whom she did not have the best connection, frequently left her feeling exhausted.
She eventually lost confidence in her body and in herself as a result of everything. Because she was overweight, she would frequently run across two types of men: those who either admired her curves or wanted her to lose weight. She wanted to completely give up dating and cut herself off from the idea of finding true love as a result of these negative encounters.
However, destiny had another plan for her! She met Matt Montgomery on Facebook in August of 2020. Their souls linked on a level never experienced before, despite the obvious differences in their physical builds!
“At first, I was a little hesitant,” Brittany recounted. Guys have threatened to break up with me in past relationships if I don’t start dieting or make an effort to lose weight. It did have an impact on my confidence, and I did attempt to change my size by working out at one time.
However, the two of them were utterly in love and confident in one another. On January 30, 2022, Matt proposed, and the pair started making plans for their future together.
Despite their complete acceptance of one another, they discussed how the outside world views their partnership. “People say that I’m not big enough or man enough for her,” Matt shared on Instagram. “I do notice people staring when we walk down the street,” he continued.
The pair is completely in love with one another, despite all the criticism they get from individuals who don’t get their strong bond.
Matt’s earlier encounters with ladies of traditional size have not gone well. Matt realized that Brittany is his genuine soulmate because of the way she makes him feel. He focuses on making her happy and embraces her for who she is. He doesn’t hesitate to publicly thank her; in a post dedicated to her, he wrote, “You are worthy, you are deserving of infinite love every single day and more.” I can tell we were meant to be together by the way you look at me and feel the same way I do about you.
The pair wishes to dispel the stereotype associated with “mixed-weight” partnerships. She remarked, “I wish mixed-weight relationships were more typical and common.”
The pair, who just announced that they are expecting their second child together in September 2023, welcomed their first child, Lakelyn, in March 2022. We hope the best for them!
