Chris Combs, the brother of the star of the TV series “Sisters weighing 1,000 pounds,” shared his impressions, supporting her on her way to losing weight.
Tammy Slayton has marked an important milestone on the path to physical transformation and is proud of how far she has come.
TLC, the host of the reality show “1,000 Pound Sisters,” posted a clip on Instagram capturing the moment Slayton weighed in, showing a figure she hadn’t seen in years: 281.2 pounds. Slayton told me: “The last time I saw Dr. Smith, my weight was 303 kilograms.”
Her surprised brother Chris Comb supported her: “Congratulations, it’s good!” In an interview, Slayton shared: “Chris said he weighs 284 kilograms. Now I weigh a little less than Chris. It’s amazing. I think the last time I weighed 281 kilograms, I was somewhere in the fourth or fifth grade. I’m a little sister, I’m not an “older” sister anymore.
At one point, Slayton turned to her brother and asked: “Why am I lighter than you?” Combs replied: “You should be lighter than me.” Slayton joked humorously in response: “Because I’m short?”
Despite the playful banter of his brother and sister, Combs shared his joy and pride in Slayton’s success, expressing how much her achievements mean to him. He noted: “Did I ever think that the day would come when she would be smaller than me? Well, probably not, because I never thought that she was smaller than me. She was always Tammy, big.”
Tammy Slayton has made significant progress on her way to losing weight, but in another Instagram video it was shown that her progress to the next stage – skin removal surgery – has been temporarily postponed.
In the video, Slayton consults with her plastic surgeon, Dr. Brad Turner, who explains that she is not ready for the procedure yet. Slayton lowered her head, clearly upset by the news.
